| Bedroom in a Mess | ||

Several years ago my dear husband David got enthusiastic about the idea to buy a pet. He wanted to have a devoted friend who would always be faithful and would never betray. He wanted something small, fluffy and soft, like cat or dog. But as I hate cats, he decided to buy a dog. One day he brought a little and nice puppy. He looked very pretty and friendly. I fell in love with him from the first sight. David called him Pet. Such name had his first dog when David was a child. We walked with him, played with him. So, all our attention was paid to Pet and everything was perfect until one day we came home and found a mess in our bedroom. We were terrible. Pillows were bitten, bed linen was torn. All stuff from our wardrobe was around the room and our bed was soiled. We couldn’t believe that such pretty and nice puppy could bring a lot of troubles. And the whole day we spent on cleaning the bedroom. And of course, David decided not to punish him, because he is just a puppy and can’t understand his actions. But he set a lock to the bedroom door that Pet couldn’t enter it. When Pet has grown up he brought bigger problems. He was out of control. We had to buy new bed linen and bedroom sets almost every two months. We couldn’t cope with his behavior, but at the same time we couldn’t get rid of him. He became a part of our small family. He made harm, spoiled things and clothes, scares our neighbors. We couldn’t live in our small apartment with such big dog anymore and we moved to the suburb in a big and wide house. At that house he became calmer and even may be wiser. May be it has concern that he have grown up. He stopped bite furniture and spoil linen. All day long he run around the yard and David made him a kennel that he lived there, far from expensive things. And only then we finally recovered poise. | ||
